Securitas has been providing Security Services to Telus, one of Canada’s national telecommunications companies since 2011. Our 110 on-site security guards provide access control, badge administration, concierge services, and patrols to their facilities, in 20 locations across Canada.
One of the Securitas leading edge technology tools that is used to support Telus is On-Site Guard Management- a powerful tool that automates processes, documents actions, and increases the effectiveness of security services.
Each quarter, Securitas and Telus meet to review progress toward meeting security objectives and Key Performance Indicators. Comprehensive data analyses enable tracking of trends and identification of root causes of security issues, and provide detailed reports on staffing, budgets, and special projects. Current initiatives include standardizing visitor management systems at all Telus sites and strengthening alarm and video monitoring capabilities at the company’s Monitoring Centre.
State-of-the-art technology and security systems enable Securitas to proactively meet emerging needs and demonstrate the value of services provided – both on an on-going basis and when unexpected events occur, such as the 2013 flooding of a key operating site in Southern Alberta.
Results of a recent customer satisfaction survey of Telus employees confirm the high-level of performance by the Securitas team in helping maintain safe and secure work environments.
